Personal CareMany of the elderly experience difficulty with daily activities such as toileting, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. We place the care providers according to the needs of each individual.  All of our care providers must have experience workingwith the elderly.  Guardian offers assistance with training by our Registered Nurse.

Light Housekeeping, wiping counterOur care providers will help to keep things neat and tidy.  Cleanliness is important along with a sense of order.

 
Medication Reminders

Medication RemindersOur care providers are non-skilled and can give medication reminders. Studies show that memory loss is most often found in the elderly and our care providers can be there to remind clients to take their medications to ensure for a healthier and more stable way of life.  Our registered nurse will be able to assit with filling the medications boxes. 

 
Meal Planning and Preparation

Meal Planning and PreparationNutrition and healthy meals help keep the memory alert and maintain good health.  Our care providers will help with the meals or do all the prep work for cooking and clean-up.

 
Transportation

TransportationConvenience and safety is our 1st concern in relieving stress and to help with making the trip to the grocery store an enjoyable trip. Taking the clients to and from the hairdresser, church, senior activities, doctor or dentist.

 
Laundry

LaundryWe will take care of the laundry including the bed linens.

 
Companionship

CompanionshipThis includes just sitting with the client and talking and giving them some company. The care providers are placed according to the qualifications of each individual client and their background. This helps to develop a relationship that would encourage the client and help to prevent depression and dementia. Looking at picture albums and taking them out to eat occasionally helps to give them the freedom of being independent.

 
Hours of Care

HoursHours of care depend on the needs of the individual client.  A minimum of 3-days per week and 4-consecutive hours per day up to 24/7 care.  No extra charge for weekends or overnight differential. Contact us today for more details!
